Details regarding our planned E-litter
We are very pleased to announce our new litter planning for January 2026 and also the stud dog. The mating of Debbie von der Ronheide is planned with Optimus Prime Debbie-Ann. Optimus Prime (call name ‘Prime’) was born on 30.04.2021 and lives with his father Mellon vom Schondratal with Petra Zimmer and her family. He has already successfully passed IGP 3 several times.
This mating fulfils the criteria of performance breeding.
Since we care about the dog’s environment as well as the dog himself, we asked Petra to write an introduction to the planned stud dog, Optimus Prime Debbie-Ann:
“I am delighted to introduce my stud dog, Optimus-Prime, known as Prime. His breeder, Kristyna Banertova, gave him his unusual name.
Prime was born on April 30, 2021, as the firstborn of 10 puppies. The litter was lovingly raised and well socialized. After a few weeks, it was clear that a son of my “Mellon vom Schondratal” would be moving in with us, and Prime became our choice.
Since then, two Hovawart males, father and son, who get along very well, have been loving and protecting me. They are my bodyguards, always close by.
Prime is a gentle giant, strong, always in a good mood, and loves to cuddle, including on the sofa. He captivates with his great character, his friendly and confident nature, coupled with strong nerves.
He is lively, loves to play and work, is friendly to people and animals, simply an all-rounder who brings joy every day and is also an easy companion when traveling (hotels, camping).”
Breeding-related data:
Prime passed his JB with full marks (75/75) and mastered his ZTP with excellence (108/110) at the age of only 22 months.
Height/weight: 69 cm/40 kg
HD-B1, ED, eye and heart examination all without findings
DM SOD1 N/N according to parents’ results
Exhibition CSS: V2 Res. Anw. Dt. Ch. VDH
Litters: 07/2025 France: “A-Litter les Grapillions du Ventoux,” litter size 4.5, all colors, more planned.
“For me, Prime embodies the almost perfect Hovawart, both as a family dog and a sporting dog.
He is “the best” (Optimus) and a “first-class” (Prime) representative of his breed.”
Petra Zimmer
