A-litter

On October 16, 2011 Hugo von Teckenhahn mated Tessla in Bad Endbach. After a nice game between the two, the first mating took place in the next hour.

On October 16th 2011 Tessla gave birth to 9 puppies:
Anton und Alonso,
Abba, Aika, Alberich,
Amy, Arla, Asta und Avashti

Tessla cares perfectly for her puppies.
The puppies are one week old now, an they gain weight daily.

Eyes open!
All puppies opened their eyes on the 12th day and explore their home on waggly feet.
The first litter inspection by the breed warden also showed that all the puppies are healthy.
The first cutting of the toes are tolerated with more or less protest.

In their third week of life, the little fur noses are already showing many actions: they cuddle, lick, play, bark, growl, howl,
lick from the communal plate,
recognise us, get little teeth,
go (almost all of them) to the litter run,
to do their business,
or just think ...
On January 18, 2012, the interim inspection of our A-litter took place and we were very pleased: all teeth and tails ok, no off-colors, a lively bunch.
Their radius of discovery in the garden is getting bigger and bigger, with new toys being added every day and explored with curiosity.
Sometimes it gets too much for mom Tessla, so the only thing that helps is the life belt!

The eighth week was very eventful for the little Hovis: Daddy Hugo was visiting, the vet visit was due (chipping, vaccination, blood sample).
Last but not least, the litter pick-up took place on February 8, 2012. And that at temperatures of -10°.

All A’s then moved into very nice new homes. We were able to see them again on May 12th at the puppy meeting in Roetgen.
The breeding evaluation then reunited (almost) all siblings: we met in Brüggen on September 12, 2012.
