Hovawarts von der Ronheide
Hovawarts have been in our live since 2007. We deliberately chose the Hovawart Breed Club RZVH (Rassezuchtverein für Hovawarte) because we appreciate its strict breeding rules and the resulting good health of the Hovawart.
The Hovawart as a sporty, healthy and beautiful all-rounder is our ideal dog.
We are Johannes and Hannelore Liebens. We live in the countryside in the beautiful Voreifel region and have been enjoying the beautiful countryside since being retired – with dogs or cycling through the Hürtgen Forest.
The puppies live in our house, the puppy area is directly connected to the living room, terrace and garden and is constantly being expanded and provided with new stimuli. People of all ages are allowed to visit us, noises, tools, car rides and unfamiliar terrain offer the puppies everything they need for optimal development.
Contact with puppy buyers is important to us, preferably for the rest of the dog’s life, so we are still in contact with our former puppy buyers.
We expect the buyers of our puppies to handle the dogs in a species-appropriate manner, to keep them busy (obedience, sport, etc.), to have an offspring assessment in the first year, a hip x-ray and possibly further breeding tests (youth assessment, suitability for breeding).
We breed in the Rassezuchtverein für Hovawarthunde e. V. (RZVH), a member of the Verband für das Deutsche Hundewesen (VDH) and the Fédération Cynologique International (FCI).
We received the Top Breeder award from the RZV Hovawart in 2021.
